Do you worry about what will happen to you when he comes home? Are you afraid of waking up each morning knowing that you'll probably get a beating from your husband?

There is a way to prevent domestic violence. The first thing you should do is "get out and stay out". By that I mean to get out of the relationship with the person that has intentionally harmed you. And by "stay out" I mean to stay away from the person that has abused you. This is the smartest thing to do when your in this sort of problem. If you stay with the person that has hurt you they'll know that they've gained all the control over you and thinik that they have more power. If they know they have more power and the control over you then the beatings will continue. Another solution can be to speak up and tell someone. If you never tell anyone why you have so many brusies and scars they'll try and "dig it out of you" - they'll keep questioning you until you tell them. So its better to tell someone than to make them guess whats going on. If you tell someone they will help you out of the situation immediatly. So if your going through domestic violence know that you're not alone. Someone out there will help if you make the right choice. THERE ARE WAYS TO STOP IT!
that is totally true a lot of people won't stop beating up their wife or even their child until it die ;(
